Andrew joined ASA in 2018 as a senior adviser specialising in the education sector. 

Previously, he had spent 16 years in investment banking, initially working for Kleinwort Benson and then Rothschild.  Andrew arranged and executed complex structured finance transactions for UK and European banks and corporates and advised both the Government and corporates on public private partnership transactions, and on privatisations.  He has advised and arranged senior, mezzanine and subordinated debt for a range of corporates and special purpose vehicles.  Andrew subsequently led the infrastructure finance activities for Rothschild.

He is now an investor in, and owner of, entrepreneurial businesses, particularly in the education and healthcare sectors.  He is also a co-owner of the Academy School, a preparatory school in Hampstead, London.

Andrew is a graduate of St John’s College, Cambridge where he read Economics.
