Care Concern - Templeton

Raising finance from private investors - Care Concern acquisition of Templeton

Care Concern is one of the largest independent family-owned care home operators in England and Scotland. The company consists of 18 care homes with over 800 beds.

Care Concern acquired Templeton (Rivington/Windyhall) to develop a state-of-the-art care home of 60 en-suite bedrooms with total cost estimated at £5.6 million. Our specialists expertise in the sector helped it successfully identify potential investors and lead the capital raising process.

As with the majority of transactions, our experts get involved well before there is a deal to be done. For Rivington our engagement commenced two years before we entered the formal transaction phase. We spoke to over 150 investors and arranged over 20 management meetings.

Manpreet Johlal, Care Concern CEO said "attention to detail paved the way for us to move quickly and acquire the business in a short period of time."
