New Century Care Holdings Ltd owns and operates 1,250 elderly and nursing beds and a 120 bedroom hotel. The shareholders approached ASA for restructuring and capital raising advice. ASA quickly discovered that, given the complexity of the situation, a transaction would not suit a typical private equity investor.

ASA identified a handful of special situation and hedge funds and approached them with a potential structure in mind. ASA had a relationship with Anchorage and was able to work with them and the shareholders of New Century Care in completing a transaction.
