Building Monitoring Services

Adam Street Advisers is pleased to announce that it advised the shareholders of Building Monitoring Services Limited (BMS) on the sale of the business to Celnor Group.

Founded in 1994 and based in the South of England, BMS is a well-established provider of independent, recurring safety consultancy, monitoring, and compliance services across the UK. Its services include workplace safety surveys, Legionella consultancy, and air quality and noise assessments.

BMS has built a strong reputation for technical expertise, high service standards, and impartial reporting, helping organisations meet regulatory requirements while promoting safer and healthier working environments.

Following completion, BMS will join Celnor Group’s Risk Management division, further strengthening Celnor’s technical capabilities and service offering in this important area of compliance and risk advisory.

Adam Street Advisers acted as lead corporate finance adviser to the shareholders of BMS, managing the process through preparation, buyer engagement, negotiation and execution, and helping deliver a successful outcome for the shareholders.

Roy Stansbury, shareholder of BMS, said:
“Adam Street provided excellent support throughout the sale process and worked hard to get the transaction completed on the best terms for me.”

Andrew Barnsley, Managing Partner at Adam Street Advisers, said:
“BMS is a high-quality business with a long-standing reputation in a specialist and resilient segment of the testing, inspection, compliance, and risk management market. We were delighted to advise the shareholders on this transaction and to help deliver a successful outcome. Celnor is an excellent home for the business and we believe BMS is well placed to continue its growth as part of the wider group.”
